I’ve been able to work with Emily a few times now, ever since her first headshot session when she was 10 years old. She’s a cool chick and always brings some attitude, I have a shot of her in my portfolio.

The purpose of this shoot was very simple, just a classic shot on white of Em in her pageant gown. I tried to keep the light as large and forgiving as possible as we’re in her mother’s living room and quarters are tight. One light set-up with a silver disc fill.

I met Toby and Drew a few months back and knew immediately that this was going to be a fun wedding. Aside from their obvious love for each other, they have an infectious enthusiasm for life.

When September 18th rolled around I instantly felt them welcome me into their group of friends and I’m honestly proud to say that. Their wedding was sweet and simple, and all day long I don’t think I saw either of them do anything but smile.

Congratulations you guys, it was an honor.

Hannah and Tim’s wedding this past Friday at Herrington on the Bay couldn’t have been more beautiful. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was inviting and the wedding cake (that Hannah made herself) was gorgeous.

Iris & Andy

I had the pleasure of photographing Iris and Andy’s e-session back in July and I’ve been excited all summer to shoot their wedding. On Sunday the 5th their big day arrived, and I’ve rarely had as much fun as I did with them and their party. What a truly sweet group of people.

Moonshine Society

A few months ago, Black Betty of Moonshine Society reached out to me about doing some promotional photography for the band. As music is the second great passion of my life, I was only too happy to oblige.

We spent a few hours together last weekend at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. My thanks to Betty and the boys for their enthusiasm and willing attitudes.

This past Saturday I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Korey and Tim’s big day. As chaos spun around Korey, she personified grace under pressure. Tim as well, was the picture of calm composure as he attended to details at the ceremony site just an hour before his “I do.”

I’ve seen few couples so openly in love with each other and they set a beautiful example for everyone.
